Categories of personal data that may be processed by AZURO Insurance in the course of providing insurance services include: first name, last name, patronymic of clients and family members (if applicable), gender, date and place of birth, signature, data from civil status documents, data from vehicle registration certificates, phone number, email address, biometric or anthropometric data, profession, place of employment, job position, bank details, nationality, data from driver's license, administrative sanctions, address (residence), personal identification number, data regarding owned assets, medical certificate data, health status information.
AZURO Insurance uses, collects, and processes your personal data for the following purposes:
Provision of insurance and reinsurance services;
For calculating the premiums for requested insurance policies;
Issuing invoices for requested insurance policies;
Delivering requested insurance policies;
Providing benefits to loyal clients and continuously improving the quality of services and products offered;
Internal or cross-border reporting as required;
Handling complaints and requests from clients;
Identifying clients, screening subjects subject to international sanctions, and detecting and preventing potential frauds;
Legal grounds for processing personal data include:
The explicit consent of the client, including for obtaining offers and concluding insurance contracts/policies;
Compliance with legal obligations of AZURO Insurance (e.g., in the case of mandatory civil liability auto insurance or measures to prevent and combat money laundering, the "know your customer" rules);
Taking necessary steps and checks requested by the client before concluding the insurance contract (such as accessing the RCA Data platform, screening subjects subject to international sanctions, etc.);
Consequences of refusing to provide or withdrawing personal data:
We require the personal data listed above to fulfill our legal obligations as an insurance intermediary and to provide you with the requested services. If you do not provide the requested personal data or withdraw your consent, we will not be able to fully or partially provide you with the services you requested.
Data storage.
AZURO Insurance, as the personal data operator, has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect clients' data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized access or disclosure.
The personal data provided to the Operator will be processed at least for the duration of the insurance contract validity and, subsequently, for the necessary period to fulfill the contractual obligations of either party. Personal data will be stored for as long as necessary for the aforementioned purposes or for the period provided by relevant legal provisions.
In accordance with Articles 12–18 of Law No. 133 of 08.07.2011, the data subject has the right to be informed, to access and object to their personal data.
The rights to access, intervene, and object to personal data are exercised by sending a written request to the INDRIVO SRL office.
