Terms and Conditions of Use – Insuretech.md

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Insuretech.md platform or associated services.

By accessing and/or using the Insuretech.md platform, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

  • Platform – the website and application available at https://insuretech.md and associated subdomains (e.g. compania-mea.insuretech.md)

  • Provider – the company that develops and offers the Insuretech.md platform

  • User – any natural or legal person who creates an account or uses the services offered

  • Client – any company that has signed a contract or activated a Cloud or On-Premise instance

2. Object of the services

Insuretech.md offers a digital platform for managing insurance activities, available in the form of:

  • Cloud SaaS, with a dedicated instance for each client

  • On-Premise, through local installation or within the client's infrastructure

3. Rights and obligations of the user

The user agrees to:

  • Provide accurate data at registration

  • Not use the platform for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes

  • Not attempt to access instances other than their own

  • Not sublicense or redistribute services without the provider's consent

4. Rights and obligations of the provider

The provider agrees to:

  • Ensure platform availability (minimum uptime 99.5% for Cloud version)

  • Protect client data in accordance with applicable legislation (GDPR, Law 133/2011)

  • Provide technical support as per the contracted package

  • Notify the user in case of significant service changes

5. Intellectual property

All copyrights on the source code, interface, and architecture of the platform belong to the provider.
Clients have non-exclusive usage rights for the contractual period, according to the activated package.

6. Confidentiality

The provider agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all data uploaded by users to the platform.
Data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except in cases required by law.

7. Suspension or termination of services

The provider reserves the right to suspend or close a user's account in case of:

  • A serious violation of these terms

  • Failure to pay for services on time (after notification)

  • Suspicious or illegal activities

8. Limitation of liability

The provider is not responsible for:

  • Indirect damages caused by human errors, external integrations, or incorrect use

  • Service interruptions caused by external factors (e.g., third-party cloud infrastructure, internet)

  • Business decisions made based on data from the platform

9. Changes to the terms

The provider reserves the right to modify these terms. Users will be notified in advance, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova.
Any dispute will be resolved amicably, and if not, by the competent courts in Chisinau.
